We are an independent studio doing really big work

Our goal is to elevate the expectations of a traditional studio by leveraging our experience working on both the agency and client side. This ensures our solutions are innovative, user-centric and systemized to scale effectively.

We believe in a small team of senior leaders, allowing projects to move quick and strong relationships with our clients to be formed. That’s how we design and build beautiful products.

The role

The Design Researcher integrates into the mixed team of specialists from our studio and from the client. They work hand-in-hand with project leads, product designers and client teams to uncover user needs, behaviours and opportunities, turning research into insights that shape meaningful digital experiences and inform product strategy.

The Design Researcher leads the research practice within their part of the project, defining the right research strategy and independently planning and conducting studies across the product development lifecycle. They combine qualitative and quantitative methods to explore new opportunities, evaluate concepts, understand existing experiences and measure the impact of solutions once they reach the market.

Working closely with product, design, business and technology teams, they help identify and prioritize the questions worth answering, connect user needs with business objectives, and translate evidence into clear, actionable recommendations. Their role goes beyond conducting research: they communicate and advocate for insights, facilitate conversations and workshops, and help teams turn what they learn into better product decisions.

Farco does not hire researchers to simply execute research plans. We hire researchers who challenge assumptions, uncover opportunities, inspire teams to act, and help create products that people love and that drive business results.
